Cocteau Twins have announced a performance at the Coachella Festival in California on 30 April 2005. It will be the first concert of thia ethereal band with the typical voice of Liz Frasier since 1996. According to NME.com, Cocteau Twins are hoping to play a series of festivals and other exclusive events from June till the autumn.
Meanwhile, their website deserves praise for its large amount of (free) audio and video content. On the video page you’ll find more than a dozen promotional videos, both from their 4AD-period as from later times. It also includes ‘Song from the siren’ by This Mortal Coil and a few live tracks. The audio section contains many rare and unreleased tracks, like demo’s, radio sessions, remixes and alternate versions. The sound quality is rather low, but still a nice treat to fans.
