Josh Ronsen has news about his Pierre Boulez Project.
“I have collected 100+ Pierre Boulez records from donations around the world. These will be destroyed on Feburary 28th, 2005 at the Church of the Friendly Ghost in Austin, Texas. The performance will be a benefit for the Austin Public Library. Three electronic musicians, James Rippie, Rick Reed and Alex Keller will play the records in various ways, both pre- and post-destruction. I am writing an overview of the project which I will deliver during the performance. The performance will be documented in some aspect.”
