Pseudo Code – Licht

Pseudo Code was a Belgian band that was active in the early 80’s. The band had a link with Bene Gesserit and can be described as an experimental/minimal pop band with a sound dominated by electronics.

Bene Gesserit - Music For The Fun Of It
Date: March 2nd, 2006; author: MvG.
Bene Gesserit hopefully doesn’t need much introduction. It is one of the more famous minimal
electronics/experimental pop bands from Belgium from the 1980’s.
Gorilla Aktiv - Umsonst ohne Risiko

Dino Martini - Ferien
Date: September 27th, 2005; author: MvG.

4 Kaiserlein - Die Welt der Musik

Inside the sleeve is a little note from the label with excuses about the bad sound quality on the B-side. The old material could not be recovered any better. Well, in my opinion the A-side and the B-side don’t differ much in sound quality. Also, if you like your music produced very clean and clear you should not buy records from Was Soll Das Schallplaten anyway…

Die Egozentrischen 2 - Der Aufstand der Chemiker
Date: February 14th, 2005; author: MvG.
There seems to be a never ending stream of re-releases of obscure 80’s tapes on limited vinyl. Also Was Soll Das? Schallplatten has been releasing some quality records with 80’s German music for some time now. This re-release of Die Egozentrischen 2 is another wonderful crazy electronic minimal NDW piece. The music is neurotic and hectic like early D.A.F….
