the german electronic group invisible limits is active since the mid 80’s, but they haven’t made any records recently. and this will probably remain so for a while, according to their statement, in which they say that they ‘have given up all forms of commercialism’. instead they offer mp3-files with new material for free download. ‘this gives us the freedom of distributing our music the way we made it and the way our thoughts created it. […] the continuing moaning of some musicians about the availability of free mp3-files on the world wide web (which apparently lowers sales figures) makes us sick!’
