Another addition to the list of musicians who died too young. Robert Heaton, member of New Model Army from 1982 to 1998, passed away last Thursday after a terminal illness.

Heaton was not only their drummer (and played some bass and guitar), he also co-wrote many NMA hits. He left the band in 1998 after a brain tumor operation. Here you can read an interview with Heaton about his post-NMA activities.
