“Sieben’s new album is a pagent, a modern Medieval-Mystery Cycle play, steeped in atmosphere, laden with rich language, a world of Howden’s own making. The violin loops, builds and soars, gently surrounding and enveloping the listener, pulling them into his world, caressing them along the way. The album evolves and unfolds beautifully, journeying to the centre of this mystery, resolving on the final song with a grand finale. Twelve wonderfully-crafted simple earthy songs.”

Along with the CD, this double-digi pack comes with a DVD film of High Broad Field. Conceived and directed by Portuguese film director Joao Paulo Simoes, the film is a visual feast, gently rolling across the landscapes of Howden’s native North of England.
