Noblesse Oblige - Privilege Entails Responsibility

in electro, Reviews

I am not a fan of electroclash but Noblesse Oblige delivers a fine album with music, which could be called post-electroclash or electrotrash if you like. On some tracks there are still fat beats, sometimes with guitars added to them and raw vocals. But, more interesting and fun are the cabaret like tracks, which seem to display the true Noblesse Oblige sound.

Outstanding are ‘Offensive Nonsense’, ‘Quel Genre De Garcon’ and ‘ Fashion Fascism’. You will hear a mix of French chansons, military beats, new wave moods and twisted pop music in these tracks.
In short, a nice debut by a promising band.
