To celebrate their 25th anniversary, Dutch avantpunk band THE EX comes with a new release, the double-album TURN. It contains 14 new songs, with over 80 minutes of music.
Songs about freedom, pies and justice, confusion, insomnia, the nightmare that?s called Kissinger, the power of poets and painters, dogs, sloths, and sisters… No idols, no soap.
TURN was recorded by Steve Albini at the Electrical Audio Studios in Chicago, IL, straight after The Ex?s three-week USA tour of late 2003. On November 19 and 20 there will be a The EX anniversary festival in Paradiso Amsterdam.
