Attention neofolk fans! Two of the best ‘zines from the scene have released compilations with some significant acts on board. The Franco-Swiss webzine Heimdallr delivered the LP Europa Aeterna, while UK-based print magazine Judas Kiss came up with the cd Past, Present and Forever.
Europa Aeterna can be ordered from the Heimdallr offsping label Autre Que. The LP comes on heavy black audiophile vinyl and is limited to 500 copies. It contains 9 exclusive tracks from Camerata Sforzesca, Darkwood, Decadence, Dies Natalis, Karnnos, Lady Morphia, Reutoff, Sonne Hagal and While Angels Watch.
The Judas Kiss compilation is released in collaboration with Kaosthetik. The cd contains 13 tracks, from the likes of Spiritual Front, Coph Nia, Of the Wand and the Moon, Blood Axis, Allerseelen and Von Thronstahl. About two thirds of the contributions are exclusive to Past, Present and Forever.
