Geneviéve Pasquier – Pulse

The mysterious elektro label Disorder Records already released two great 7”s. One by The Rorschach Garden and one by Le Syndicat Electronique. Both these releases were sold out very quickly. This new 7” will most likely also be sold out soon. Pulse is namely a wonderful piece of analogue minimal electronic music.

Geneviéve Pasquier is probably best known for her work with noise / power electronics outfit Thorofon. She herself produces excellent minimal tracks of cold wave/elektro/industrial.

Titletrack ‘Pulse’is very likely to become a clubhit. It is a very addictive track with a good old skool elektro / industrial feeling. ‘Gone’ is more tranquil and also darker. It is a nice short instrumental track. On the b side is the 7 minutes long noisy piece ‘Good-Girl-Bad’. This track has some old style industrial influences. Not a floor filler but a good track with a great mood.

If you are able to get hold of this record, you should while it is available. This will become a collector’s item for sure.

Limited to 400 copies; 300 as black vinyl and 100 as red vinyl.
