Pedestrian Deposit – Volatile

The releases on Truculent Recordings usually have moody, subtle covers. They could house all kinds of musical styles. The last thing you would expect is brutal noise. And that is exactly what you get. This is truly a label for extreme audio. The for me unknown act Pedestrian Deposit is not basically different than other Truculent releases that I’ve heard. Violent noise attacks, nasty high frequencies, funny playing around with stereo effects. Abrasive power electronics, walls of loudness, uncompromising slabs of noise. There are some moments of reflection though, because Pedestrian Deposit even employs some dark ambient moments. Furthermore the five tracks are heavy shit though. I’m already exhausted after the first track. Something for connaisseurs.
