RobotZen is an American band that has a sound that is really special. Their music is hard to describe and even harder to categorize. Their music has some wave influences, but overall has more of an alternative pop feeling with melodic pieces and samples.
One track might be a little like trip-hop (‘Black Swan’), another might make use of breakbeats (‘Hello New Day’) and the next (‘Call Me Eve’) is impossible to place anywhere in a genre or style.
Due to this RobotZen has truly created a sound of its own. I hope to hear more from this band in the future.
