Half an hour of deep droney ambient music. Subinterior is a project of Andrea Freschi, who is also active with Coma Divine and Weltschmerz. This ‘solo project’ aims to make music which is completely built on samples and environment noises. Indeed, you hear dripping water now and then, but most sounds are heavily manipulated and barely recognizable.
On this mcd 6 dark soundscapes can be found, which form a nice listening late at night. Slow, oppressive and monotonous sounds and drones push the songs slowly towards the end. Nothing to get too excited about, though I must say that Subinterior has created a solid piece of work, which is a little disturbing a times.
