Television Set – Normal Day

I just love Television Set. All their work is just brilliant. Maybe it is the melancholic mood, or the catchy tunes, or the fitting vocals, or the pure simple and authentic 80’s way of working (drum box, synth bass and a melody). I don’t know. I suppose it is all of this, but most of all the wonderful catchy and simplistic melody lines.

On this new release especially the B-side (‘Future Today’) has all of the above mentioned qualities. The A-side (‘Boring Day’) is a bit more raw and chaotic. It is still a good track but les catchy.

Hopefully this 12” is a precursor for a new EP or full-length. I never get enough of this…
