Moljebka Pvlse from Sweden has never disappointed me with its experimental soundscapes. This time the project run by Mathias Josefson releases an album in a wonderful packaging on a rather unknown label, Fifth Week Records.

This weekend I visited a jukebox exposition in a museum in Amersfoort. Though I’m not much into American rock’n roll lifestyle, I’m always fascinated by these ingenious devices.

Reaction to praise

The interesting and long-running Dutch site Monas.nl has added ‘some kind of blog’. Webmaster Roy wrote very positive words in the Logbook about Funprox (entry of 24/6). This is of course pleasant to read, but the timing is perhaps not perfect.

Oil 10: Beyond cd

The French electronic project Oil 10, run by Gilles Rossire, has created a new cd. Beyond contains 10 tracks and is out now on Funkwelten, after previous releases on Noise Museum, Hymen, Vacuum, Brume and Divine Comedy Records. You can listen to an album sampler in the Oil 10 multimedia section.

Concrescence = Thieves of Impressions

Concrescence may sound like a new name, but their cd Obscured by the dark years is in fact a collection of early, unreleased and lost songs by the Thieves of Impressions, recorded in 1994/1995.

Feindflug: anniversary dvd

Feindflug presents the dvd “Hinter Feindlichen Linien”, to celebrate the ten years’ existence of the band. It contains more than 170 minutes of Feindflug material, including a recent concert in Berlin, several live and video clips and a short movie. Later this summer it will also be available in a special ‘combat pack box’.

Land:Fire – live release

Earlier this year Shortwave Transmission released a dvd-r of Herbst9 (live in Leipzig, 2005). Now they announce a cd-r of Land:Fire, recorded live at Sonic Lodge (May 2006, Leipzig), consisting of two long tracks.
