Vene Records is a small label founded in the Netherlands somewhere in 2003. It focuses on ‘the most destructive and hateful audio there exists’, harsh noise and power electronics. Out now are new tapes from Albert Fish Is My Hero (USA), Terg (Hol) and Bitter (Hol).

Three new CD releases are now available on Beta-lactam Ring Records: Legendary Pink Dots “Ancient Daze”, Nurse With Wound “Rock ‘n Roll Station” & Nurse With Wound “Stereo Wastelands”. Vinyl editions of these albums follow in a few weeks. Tracklists & samples can be found at blrrecords.com.

Out soon on Treue Um Treue will be Dr. C. Stein’s Echo Trip. Dr. C. Stein is an artist of the legendary Dutch tape-label TRUMPETT and was involved in several elektro projects during the 80’s such as Thromboh, Doxa Sinistra and especially Ende Shneafliet, from which he was an original member.

Six years after the album ‘release’, P.A.L. returns with Modus. It offers twelve tracks ranging from rhythmic industrial and technoid four-to-the-floor tracks to ambient, to ritualistic soundscapes, up to the utilization of quite unusual influences. Available since mid June of Ant-Zen.

Raster-Noton announces a new release: COH’s patherns EP.

Arcana from Sweden has signed to the German label Kalinkaland. The first move is to put out a ‘magical new album’ in 2007. Arcana will also be present with exclusive material on the upcoming label compilation Lightwaves Part II.

Glacial Movement Records is a new label devoted to the description of icy landscapes. The first release is a cd-r compilation called Cryosphere in a limited edition of 300 copies, with artists like Troum, Northaunt, Tho so aa and more.

The French electronic project Oil 10, run by Gilles Rossire, has created a new cd. Beyond contains 10 tracks and is out now on Funkwelten, after previous releases on Noise Museum, Hymen, Vacuum, Brume and Divine Comedy Records. You can listen to an album sampler in the Oil 10 multimedia section.

Concrescence may sound like a new name, but their cd Obscured by the dark years is in fact a collection of early, unreleased and lost songs by the Thieves of Impressions, recorded in 1994/1995.

Feindflug presents the dvd “Hinter Feindlichen Linien”, to celebrate the ten years’ existence of the band. It contains more than 170 minutes of Feindflug material, including a recent concert in Berlin, several live and video clips and a short movie. Later this summer it will also be available in a special ‘combat pack box’.

Earlier this year Shortwave Transmission released a dvd-r of Herbst9 (live in Leipzig, 2005). Now they announce a cd-r of Land:Fire, recorded live at Sonic Lodge (May 2006, Leipzig), consisting of two long tracks.

Flexx is a mailorder from Belgium, whose aim is “to bring a selection of todays and yesterdays electronic and/or dance music”. They have also started to operate as a label. Karjalan Sissit‘s fourth album Tanssit On Loppu Nyt is out now on Cyclic Law (17th Cycle). A vinyl version in a limited edition of 399 copies will follow by the end of June. on Eternal Soul Records.
