Breakcore may not be my favourite musical genre, this interview with travelling laptop musician C-Drik is very readable. He was born in Congo, mostly lived in Belgian and moved to The Netherlands a few years ago. C-Drik toured in Asia and stayed in Shanghai for several weeks. During his travels he attracted quite some attention with his pink mohawk, piercings and tattoos. In Asia he mainly played for a ?well-educated? urban people, a kind of new elite. One of the visitors found it hard to understand that a person living as a vegan could make such violent music. C-Drik: “if I have to try to find a link between veganism and violent music — I would never play this music for animals”.
