A new development for Sol Invictus: a downloadable release. “These Cold Hands Compilation” contains previews of tracks from upcoming Tursa projects.
On the virtual release are three Tony Wakeford solo tracks, two Sol Invictus pieces and one song by related project Triple Tree. The compilation can be downloaded for £3.00 from the Tursa shop.
I have mixed feelings. New material from Wakeford always has my interest, and £3.00 for six songs is not extremely expensive. On the other hand I don’t have much affinity with mp3 and other digital formats. I find them useful sometimes to get to know new music and to listen to music while travelling, but I still much rather have have a physical release in my hands.
