I read an article in the newspaper about ‘live in the livingroom’. this is a series of intimate concerts by various, sometimes well-known artists, in, well, living rooms of ‘volunteers’. there have been 19 editions in different dutch cities already, usually for 20-30 visitors. this weekend the first living room concert in utrecht takes place. for 10 euro you see 3 different artists perform, each with two sets of 15 minutes. drinks & snacks are included.
a similar private initiative in belgium, more in the industrial/experimental corner are the nachtlawaai concerts organised in the apartment of stefan/geluidsoverlast.
