the human league concert in amsterdam was enjoyable, and not just campy 80’s retro. phil oakley is still charismatic. unfortunately he had some voice problems, but he showed character to continue till the end. the female singers were enthousiastic and acted like divas. the 6 members (+ a guy hidden behind the computer) gave a nice a show against a mostly white background. the highlights for me were ‘being boiled’, ‘sound of the crowd’, ‘the lebanon’ and ‘all i ever wanted’.
