Suddenly I’m hearing a lot about the Danish group Efterklang, there seems to be a buzz going on. Understandable, because their music is really attractive. It’s a very subtle mixture of glitchy electronics, classical, shoegaze, ambient and more filmic atmospheric sounds. Some bands that are mentioned in reviews of this 10 piece ensemble are Sigur Rós, Múm, Fennesz, Max Richter, White Birch, Under Byen as well as Ingmar Bergman films.
