Normally I’m not too fond of modern tools in a retro design, I rather prefer the ‘real’ old stuff. But for this black machine I made a small exception.
Crosley Radio was founded in 1920 and became the world’s largest radio manufacturer. Founder Powel Crosley became known as ‘The Henry Ford of Radio.’ Nowadays the name Crosley is used for detailed replicas of classsic radios and turntables, with modern technology added.
Crosley offers a wide range of turntables, radios, jukeboxes, telephones and more retro vintage devices. I obtained the Autorama, a combination of AM/FM Radio and a 3-speed turntable. Not that I nééded another radio and/or turntable, but I just liked its looks so much…
