Postal problems

postal services can be annoying. today i received a message that a parcel with cd’s that i bought on ebay has been returned to its sender in the usa, after a journey of 4 months, ending up in germany. according to the post it was ‘unclaimed’. well, they haven’t given me the chance to claim it… of course the parcel is in bad condition, it suffered a lot on the way. i wonder if it will ever make its way to my home…
last week the opposite thing happened, i got a parcel with cd’s back which i sent to someone in berlin a few weeks ago, this piece was unclaimed too, while the receiver never got any message about it…
earlier his year i returned home from my work one day to find found a box with limited eis & licht vinyls waiting for me on the pavement next to my front door… luckily there don’t live many neo-folk fans in my neighbourhood…
fortunately in 99% of the cases everything goes smooth, but it’s always a relief when a parcel reaches its destination safely.
