another legendary figure has left the building: johnny cash died last friday, aged 71. the last years he was in a productive and acclaimed phase in his career, with albums as “solitary man” and ‘the man comes around”, with covers of nick cave, nin and depeche mode amongst others. but he has also been struggling with his health lately, and earlier this year he lost his wife.
