‘The Voice Of New Music’ is an anthology of articles from the American composer Tom Johnson that originally appeared in the Village Voice.
They deal with the evolution of minimal music in New York in 1972-1982, with artists like Steve Reich and Charlemagne Palestine. The book (originally published in 1991) can now be freely downloaded as PDF or Word.
