Anna Logue: first two releases

Anna Logue Records is a newly founded record label based in Germany, specialized in vinyl-only production of original early 80’s Minimal Electronics / Electropop / Technopop / Synthie-Wave and the like from around 1979 to 1984. Their first release is an LP by Camera Obscura, while a CD/DVD set by Starter is coming up.

The first now available release on Anna Logue Records is by the 1983 UK band Camera Obscura, known from their famous “Destitution/Race in Athens” 7”-single: Horizons of Suburbia ­ 12” LP, 33 1/3 rpm, with 10 previously unreleased tracks from 1983, limited to 400 copies. On October 8, Camera Obscura will perform at theAlles in einem festival in Hannover together with Sickdoll and Solitude FX.

Soon Anna Logue Records will be offering an official CD/DVD-set from the legendary minimal-synthpop band Starter from Bern, Switzerland. In the early minimal synth phase they consisted of Francis Foss, Jet Harbour and Claudine Chirac, later of Francis Foss and Reto Keller. The CD contains the complete LP from 1981 plus various tracks from later 12" vinyls. The DVD contains Videoclips, TV- and live-performances.
