In February Rough Trade will release a compilation with early singles and EP’s by Scritti Politti. The album will contain 13 tracks and is simply called ‘Early’.
Green Gartside was a bit reluctant to release this material: “I?m not really fond of any of the music I?ve made and I?ve normally done my best to make sure that as few people get to hear it as possible!” You can read an interview with Gartside on weblog Stephenage.
