New Orplid album out soon

Orplid’s new album Sterbender Satyr will be out at 24 March on Auerbach Tonträger. This new release sees Frank Machau and Uwe Nolte increasingly aiming for more ethereal soundscapes.

This is reflected in the use of minimalist electronics and corresponding drum-machine sounds, a conscious reference to the so-called Cold Wave scene of the early 1980s.
