After many self-issued CD-R releases, a single published by Polish label Nefryt and participation on the international compilation “Songs for Landeric” (Cynfeirdd), the Polish group One Inch Of Shadow has finally released its first official album.
“Birthday of Angels and Mannequines is filled with volatile, neo-psychodelic, lazy and subtle painted ambient landscapes and delicate ethereal songs. The release contains nearly an hour of spiritualized, unreal music dwelling on the border of reality and dream. Voices, pianos, guitar, trumpet, percussion …closed in enormous ambience of sounds. A perfect, autumnal soundtrack to the picture of falling leaves and seething, rainy clouds.”
