  1. New cd’s out in mid-April on Italy’s Punch Records: 1997EVDead.ends.sinful and Dustmuffin & The Aluminum CansEssential Recordings 1984-2001.
  2. Ad Noiseam has a new DÄLEK 12″ record out called Streets All Amped. Coming soon is the anniversary “Ad Noiseam 2001-2006” triple compilation.
  3. The German trio Jasmin is back with a new EP. EP02 contains 4 tracks of guitar post rock with jazzy elements as well as the quicktime video “Köln”. Available through or as free download.
  4. Two new cd’s on Narrominded Records: Living OrnamentsVlokken (“strong melodies, piano, guitar and constantly shifting clicks, hiss and buzz”) and Makazoruki – S/T (waverock with references to Sonic Youth and the Chameleons).
  5. Vincent Bergeron from Canada has a cd-r out called L’Art du Désarroi, which can also be downloaded. Expect heavily edited and atonal instrumentation and a voice which takes on many different characters.
  6. Bunker Soldier from Texas has released his fourth album The Debris Field, in a style which can be called ‘synthpowerpop’, with clear links to his 80’s roots. Hear it at CDBaby.
  7. Staupa Musica announces a new album of Potentia Animi. Psalm II is out on April 28. The German medieval monks will also do an extensive German tour.
  8. Italy’s Decadance Records has signed RAN, the new project formed by Romina Salvadori (vocalist from EstAsia) and Giorgio Ricci (Templebeat/Hysterie). Their album will be released during 2006.
  9. Alfa Matrix presents two new EBM releases: the 5-track come-back EP Commandments For The Molecular Age by Mentallo & The Fixer, as well as a collaboration between Dive and Diskonnekted on the 8-track Frozen EP. Included are remixes from Leaether Strip, Numb, Combichrist and Inure.
  10. In Strict Confidence has announced over a dozen tour dates in Germany and the rest of Europe. Their new 10-Track EP Where Sun and Moon unite is out now, including remixes by Blutengel and Samsas Traum.
