July 2005 saw another new Opposition release. The album is called Lost Songs and contains 15 tracks that were recorded in 1978. It is a full album that was officially recorded but has never been properly released before in any form. Only the track ‘This Year’ was released on a 7" single but the other tracks have never been heard before in any form.
The album can now be ordered through Red Sun Records, release date to be confirmed. You can read more about it and listen to 2 MP3’s here.
"In the main it’s pop-punk: new wave songs taken at slightly breakneck speed, sometimes straying into rock-meets-reggae territory! It is a raw powerful album, and a fascinating historical insight into the evolution of one of the most exciting and influential guitar bands of the 80’s."
