The Opposition releases

‘New York, Paris, Peckham’ is a live album from The Opposition, recorded in 1983-1984 at different venues in Europe and the USA during their Empire Days tour. The album captures The Opposition when they were at the forefront of the post-punk English new wave. On a few tracks they were joined by ex-Comsat Angels guitarist Paul Robertson.

There is also a solo album out from Mark Long, singer/guitarist of The Opposition. ‘North Peckham Skyline’ contains low-tech, immediate home recordings that allow the creative process to take the lead. It’s an outlet for his singer/songwriter compositions in their most intimate form.

Both discs can be ordered from Red Sun Records.
