Tom Reynolds wrote the amusing book I Hate Myself and Want to Die, named after a Nirvana song.
The subtitle is: ‘the 52 Most Depressing Songs You’ve Ever Heard’. There can be many reasons for sadness, and the list ranges from Joy Division to Barry Manilow. In an interview with The Guardian, Reynolds gives away his personal top 25, which includes The Cure’s ‘Prayers for Rain’.
