Kirdec – Stadskantoor Zero

Behind the name Kirdec goes the Belgian sound engineer Arnette Vande Gorne. He is a very productive electronic music composer / noisemaker, amongst others as C-drik, Ammo, Axiome and Ambre. He has also worked with many well known musicians like Mick Harris (Scorn, Napalm Death) and Mathis Mootz (Panacea, M2).

Kirdec is his breakcore project. This lp is filled with harsh and hectic sound, that are much too chaotic for the (average)dancefloor. The beats squeak, bounce and pound all over the place. Most of the time this is on high tempo and without much of a structure.

The new Belgian label PuZZling Records shows to have some nerves to release this record as a first release. Kirdec music is far from accessible. Stadskantoor Zero is only recommended to experienced listeners, like those who like the more extreme music from the Hymen label, like Venetian Snares for example.
I am curious what the next release from PuZZling will be.
