James Geist releases his own blend of industrial music through his own Tantric Terror label. Nitrous Flesh is his ritual industrial / dark ambient project. The long soundscapes are evolving through minimal rhythms that are combined with distorted and haunted sounds.
The hypnotizing sound of Nitrous Flesh could be described as Shaman industrial. Just as the other cd’s Abominations and Shadow Fracture this one is filled with terrifying ritual ambient. This music has nothing to do with entertainment. So be warned.
A little more variation would have benefited the tracks. Now the music is very minimal and at times a bit tedious. Nevertheless for the devotee this is probably an excellent album.
