Prikosnovénie keeps discovering interesting new and exotic artists. Pinknruby is a typical act for the French label. It’s a duo, consisting of Slovene singer Mihaela Repina and English guitarist Paul Bradbury. Their music is laid-back and relaxing. The overall mood of this album is sweet and fairy-like, at times melancholic or sensual.
Most songs consist mainly of lovely acoustic guitar work and the voice of Mihaela. She sings in a beautiful, dreamy ethereal manner. Some eastern sounds enhance the atmosphere, as well as piano, percussion and a few nature sounds. Just a lovely warm listening album to which you can safely dream away.
