Schatten Unter Eis – 1984

For the real connaisseurs of 80’s minimal electronics this record is a feast. One of the musicians in this band was prior to this active in the obscure but legendary L’aventure Imaginaire.

So a few people will know what to expect from the five tracks here: authentic minimal and playful electronic music. The sounds of the tracks differ from poppy and Neue Deutsche Welle influenced to darker and more melancholy moods.

Highlights are the circus like tune ‘Between Day and Night’ and the sort of children’s song ‘Brückenkopf im Niemandsland’. 1984 is already sold out at the label in pre-orders. That means that if you want a copy you must be quick.
