Sobria Ebrietas is a name which I encountered on a few compilations, like ‘Like Music to their Ears’ and ‘aXc_labs ‘. The act is a member of the Third Brass Collective, which is related to the Belgian band The Dawn Visitors. Sobria Ebrietas creates dark experimental soundscapes. In general the tracks have interesting structures and a wide array of sounds. Melancholic piano sounds, obscure samples and voices and harsh industrial noises. The atmosphere is threatening and disquieting. Though the album can not keep my attention for the full 64 minutes, it contains overall some interesting experimental dark ambient music.
