Spyros Giasafakis is the main musician of Daemonia Nymphe, the neo-traditional Greek band. On this mini cd are five tracks of improvisations played with rebuilt ancient instruments. Other musicians like Louisa John-Krol and Christian Wolz (who both released music on Prikosnov?nie contributed to tracks.
Overall the songs on this cd are more experimental (they are improvisations after all) and less real songs then the music of Daemonia Nymphe. But, the music has the same ritual and sjamanistic feeling.
The tranquil pieces could well be used to relax, maybe even for meditation. Spyros Giasafakis proves to be a great solo musician on this record. This is no easy listening but worth every second of your time.
