Temple Of Tears – Ardor

Temple Of Tears are Jason Are and Dan Loreck. When playing live they often are accompanied by Jenette Ferox. This Australian act (from the most isolated city in the world, Perth) has send their new single “Ardor” out into the world. A single with 5 remixes of the title-track, and not the original version.

What Temple Of Tears do musically sounds quite like Covenant and Apoptygma Berzerk. And this song at least is well written, nice synth-lines over a good beat, fits any alternative dance-floor as well as the living room.

Most astounding fact of this single is that even though it clearly is the same track again and again, it does not bore me even not when I listen to it a third time in a row. The difference between the versions clearly are large enough to keep on entertaining. Variety that is partly reached through having the vocals done by either Jason Are or Jenette Ferox. Another good thing is the Assemblage 23 remix, Tom Shear merges Ardor into an A23 song basicly.

This for sure is a single that knows how to create curiosity. I really wonder how the next full-length of this act will be. A full-length that can be expected later this year.
