Biography:
Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio is one of my favourite Cold Meat acts. Their music is both ritual and atmospheric, with a solemn atmosphere and declamated texts. Individualism is an important theme in their output. ‘I have no confidence in the leaders of today and tomorrow’ and ‘You ask if the mass is dumb? Dumb is a simplifying word; the mass is so much more’ are characteristic statements. S&M is another important subject in the music of ORE, the band around Thomas pettersoon. By the way, they are very good at inventing impossible long songtitles.
After the splendid album “Conquest, Love & Self Perseverance” Chelsea Krook left the band, which from then added Rosarius to its name. As the official website stated: ‘Rose-Marie Larsen enters the life of Tomas Pettersson and successively becomes an initiated and essential constituent of Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio.’ Two beautiful cd’s were made since then, “Make Love and War: The wedlock of Roses” and “Make Love and War: The wedlock of Equilibrium”, also released on one double LP, full of ritual, mostly acoustic songs. Tomas Pettersson also released a single under the name of Victoria, together with Peter Pettersson of Sophia.
